A 10% aqueous solution of ammonia is commonly known as ammonia solution (or household ammonia).
Technical liquid ammonia is a raw material used in the production of mineral fertilizers and numerous nitrogen-containing industrial chemicals. It is one of the most important products of the chemical industry. The global annual production of ammonia exceeds 180 million metric tons.
