Quartz sand with a fraction of 0.1–0.2 mm is a high-quality natural mineral material, the main component of which is silicon dioxide (SiO₂) with a content of at least 98.5%. The material is characterized by high purity, uniform grain composition, and high hardness (7 on the Mohs scale).
Due to the low content of clay impurities (up to 0.5%), quartz sand has excellent filtration properties, chemical resistance, and operational stability.
