Description
Pearl barley consists of polished whole barley grains. By removing the tough outer hull, the grains take on a light gray color with a distinctive dark longitudinal stripe. Once cooked, it develops a subtle nutty aroma and a pleasant flavor, making it an excellent choice for side dishes, porridges, and soups.
